How we collect consent, what we send, and how to opt out

Viking Power Washing sends text messages to customers who have provided consent. This page explains exactly how consent is collected, what messages you will receive, and how to stop receiving messages at any time. No messages are sent without prior opt-in.

How You Opt In to SMS

We collect explicit consent through three channels. In all cases, the customer provides their mobile number voluntarily and acknowledges that they may receive transactional text messages.

Quote Request Form

When you submit a quote request on our website and provide your mobile phone number, you are agreeing to receive transactional text messages related to your service request. The consent checkbox on our quote form clearly discloses this.

Customer Portal

Customers who create an account in our self-service customer portal and provide a mobile phone number receive SMS notifications about their quotes, jobs, and invoices. Consent is confirmed at account creation.

In-Person or By Phone

When you call 513-995-1800 to request service and provide a mobile number, our team verbally confirms your consent to receive job-related text updates before adding your number to our messaging system.

What Messages We Send

All messages are transactional in nature — directly related to services you have requested or jobs in progress. We do not send promotional bulk advertising messages.

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. All messages identify Viking Power Washing as the sender and include opt-out instructions.

How to Stop Receiving Messages

You can opt out at any time. Your opt-out request is honored immediately and no further messages will be sent to your number.

Program Terms

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, then no further messages.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Message frequency varies based on service activity — typically 1 to 4 messages per active service request.

No messages are sent to numbers that have opted out, even if you later submit a new quote request using the same number.

Opt-out requests are processed immediately and are carrier-compliant.
